Any order placed by you for goods advertised on our website or in store, is an offer by you to purchase the goods selected in your order. No contract exists between you and us for the sale of any goods until we have received your order and accepted it (which we may do at our discretion). We cannot be liable for wrong sizes or colours of any products supplied by us nor the futures maintenance to any products supplied by All-Gates UK Limited.  It is the customers responsibility to allow clearance with the correct measurements.  A tolerance of 5mm -/+ in to be expected in gates and doors to allow for expansion/shrinkage etc.  This acknowledgement is not notification that we have accepted your order. If we accept your order, we will notify you by email or telephone that we have accepted it prior to dispatch of the goods. If we cannot accept your order, for example (but without limitation) because the goods are found to be unavailable, we will notify you by telephone or email. In the event that, after we accept your order, we discover that the goods ordered are unavailable or that there was a pricing error on our website in respect of the goods ordered, we reserve the right not to supply the goods ordered and to offer you a refund.

All-Gates UK Limited will not pass on any personal or credit or debit card details to any outside company. any credit or debit card information that we collect will only be used for processing your order.

You agree that all details you have provided to All-Gates UK Limited for the purpose of ordering and purchasing goods or services are correct, and that the credit or debit card you are using is your own and that there are sufficient funds to cover the cost of the goods or services ordered.

If there are any changes to the details supplied by you it is your responsibility to inform us as soon as possible before any manufacturing has been undertaken otherwise we have the right to charge for any changes made to any products at any time - please note this could be a costly charge due to wastage of materials already used.

All purchases are non-exchangeable, non-refundable and non-transferable unless agreed.

Once we receive notification from you that you wish to withdraw from the contract (in accordance with these terms), any sum debited to All-Gates from your credit card in relation to your order will be re-credited to that credit card account as soon as possible and in any event within 7 days of you receiving your order provided that the goods you wish to return are received by us in the condition that they were when despatched. You will be liable for any charges incurred in returning the goods to us unless the goods are faulty.

Should you wish to return a product to us, you must contact us first. It is your duty to return any goods to us at your own cost, unless faulty or agreed by us. When goods are received they will be inspected.   If goods are faulty due to a manufacturing failure, we will refund all charges, this does not include, ordering of the wrong product, ordering of the wrong size, warping of any product, fading of any product, splitting of any product, shaken cracking of any product, twisting of any products supplied by us as this is the nature of the material being used although we do go to great lengths to pick our timber wisely.  Please remember timber is a natural product and as such can be subject to movement and weathering as it seasons; absorbing and releasing moisture. It is quite common for small splits (shakes) to occur during drying and also warping when timber is allowed to dry too rapidly. This is nature at work and should not be considered a fault. This is normally not detrimental and in all but extreme cases will rectify as humidity rises. It is the customer/consumers responsibility to store products where damage will not arise.  When hanging/installing gates/doors, it is the purchaser's responsibility they are hung & installed in the correct manner of how the braces are constructed i.e. the brace should be at the bottom 'hinge side' (especially for pairs of gate/doors/shutters).  Centre meeting cover strips are provided for all pairs of gate and doors (except 5-bar field gates) which help keep the each gate true to one another.  Should the item just be an unwanted product and only if its a stock item (stock size) then we can refund the price of the product otherwise we do not refund your carriage charges incurrred sending the goods back, but we will refund the full price of the order providing they are returned within 7 (seven) days of receipt of goods. As soon as we have accepted the goods back (in re-saleable condition) we will inform you of this and that a credit of the item only has been refunded. On odd occasions where products are badly damaged or not returned due to the reason specified, we reserve the right to refuse to accept the return. On items that are a special order (size) and have been dispatched direct from us, no carriage fee is supplied by us, it is the customers responsibility to return the item back to us in the same state it was delivered at their own cost.  We cannot be held responsible for any delivery cost/ packaging cost or damage held in transit for returns, so make sure to take great lengths to ensure items are well packaged ready for your chosen courier(s). It is important to make sure gates and doors are supported with gates stop, centre meeting cover strips.  Its equally important for Gates/doors to be bolted top and bottom to help prevent warping and twisting and should be kept in a locked position when not in use.  Applications of UV filter spirit based stain are highly advisable on all timber products to help prevention for UV rays.  Automated/electric gates should be supported with a MagLock to help prevent from warping.  Bi-fold and tri-fold gates and doors 'must' have a cross bar (lintel) so each and every opener is bolted top and bottom to prevent warping due to the weight of the master opener.  All openings require gate/door stops to help keep the opener(s) true to the posts, wall-plates, walls etc.

It is usual for the delivery driver to sometimes ask for help to unload larger and heavier items to reduce any chance of damage to the products, so please do expect this or arrange someone who is capable of heavy lifting.   Please make sure there is an area ready for the drop to be made on the day of delivery.  All-Gates UK Ltd cannot be held liable for any re-occurring charges held to a customer for any reason.  It is the responsibility of the customer to acquire a confident and professional installer (sub-contractor) for any gates or garage doors (supplied by All-Gates UK Ltd) to undertake the works being carried out.  All-Gates UK Ltd will not accept any liability for lateness of products being supplied on time - although we will always contact you to advise if any delays do occur.  All-Gates UK Ltd will rectify the sizes of the gates and garage doors if this is an obvious mistake by us - we cannot be hold responsible for any further charges acquired to the customer from any sub-contractor - installer.  All-Gates UK Ltd cannot be liable for any wrong sizes or amounts required for any posts, wall-plates, cill's, Glass, hinges, ironmongery or any other products required to install the finish product. Glass is not supplied by All-Gates UK Ltd so is up to the customer to purchase locally once the doors are delivered and inspected (at their own expense).  Any gates/doors that are manufactured to a 'larger size' than what is advertised on the website is ordered at the 'buyers/consumers/customers risk', and no gaurantee's will be held what so ever.  All-Gates UK Ltd cannot be held liable for any damages caused by any sub-contractor / installer acquired by the customer.  All-Gates UK Ltd cannot be held liable for failure of installation of any products supplied by us.  All-Gates cannot be liable for and delays but will always inform you if a deadline cannot be met.  It is the customers responsibility to use the correct screws/bolts for any ironmongery used for installation.  It is the customers responsibility to make sure all timber is maintained using the correct treatment and all ironmongery is well oiled and treated where and when necessary.  If swelling has arisen on any timber product, this can only be due to lack of use of the correct preservative (either failure in correct cycles or failure of the preservative being used), a moisture test maybe taken to show the percentage of the moisture content to check if the preservative used has either failed or not has not been carried out in the correct procedure/format.  All-Gates have the right to use a 'Scientific Analyst' to carry out further tests of chemicals and other substances used on the timber/metal products to help prove an line of enquiry. Repairing of gates/doors/timber products (due to not being preserved correctly) will be charged accordingly, depending on what is involved in each case - some cases can be cheaper to start again from fresh if the timber has been left un-preserved for a long period of time.

We reserve the right to withdraw or change any product detail or price quoted on any item at any time. In line with All-Gates UK Ltd product development, we also reserve the right to change/improve products without prior notice.

We shall give you the option of confirming the order at the correct price or if you so choose, to cancel the order altogether. If you cancel and have already paid for the goods in the circumstances described in this clause, we shall refund the full amount in accordance with these Terms.

In the unlikely event that you receive goods which were not what you ordered or which are damaged or defective, or are of a different quantity to that stated on your order form, All-Gates UK Limited shall, at its own option, make good any shortage or non-delivery, replace or repair any damaged or defective goods, or refund to you the amount you paid for the goods in question provided that you notify us of the problem in writing at the address stated or by e-mail within 3 working days of delivery of the goods. Please note that all images shown on this website are for illustration purposes only.  No copying is authorised of any of the images from www.all-gates.co.uk or www.allgaes.co.uk or any other social/advertising websites, if this is found to be lawbreaking, we will address the case for a court hearing.  While we try to represent all products to their exact design, colour's and construction methods/layouts may vary from time-to-time due to size and timber being used. This may usually occur where a supplier has withdrawn a product and replaced it with a better version. In these incidences, we will provide you with the new product on condition that the new product is of an equal or better specification. Braces will change angles to suite the best structure of the gate(s) or door(s) you have ordered. We do go to extreme efforts to pick and choose the best timbers available for any gate(s) or door(s) we manufacture or supply and it is general practice and nature for timber to shrink and expand along with split, warp, twist fade etc, so please be prepared to accept these once your order has been placed. We accept no responsibility for the future of the timber or products that we sell.

You and All-Gates UK Limited will only be liable under these Terms for losses that are a reasonably foreseeable consequence of the relevant breach of contract.

Credit and Debit cards may be debited on the day of payment by the agreed payment service, although we reserve the right to process your payment at a later time. Our systems allow us to provide immediate refunds (upon receipt of goods where required), but these do depend on the merchant used to make payment. Credit / Debit card payments are processed every morning and it is during this processing that funds are returned to your card provider. If payment was made the same day as the refund is processed, we can void the transaction. This means that no payment is taken, so there is no refund to process.
