Smooth Finished Palisade Gates
Our smooth-finished Palisade style gates are built for both strength and elegance. Each gate features a fully morticed and tenoned frame, bonded with high-quality boat-building glue for superior durability.
Unlike solid gates, the hit-and-miss palisade design allows air to flow through, reducing wind resistance while maintaining privacy and charm. The chamfered and rounded edges add a refined, timeless character to any entrance.
We offer a made-to-measure service, allowing you to order your gate to exact dimensions. If you have a unique design in mind that’s not shown on our website, simply send us a sketch with measurements, and we’ll be happy to provide a custom quote.
All of our smooth Palisade gates are supplied untreated, ready for staining in your preferred colour (except for our standard/budget range, which comes pre-treated).
For best results, we recommend a spirit-based wood stain—apply at least three coats for initial treatment. We particularly suggest Sikkens HLS as a base coat followed by Sikkens Filter 7 for the top coats, offering excellent protection against UV rays, moisture, and fungal growth.
