Closeboard/Feather Edge Gates: usually within a week to 10 days

Any Tongue & Groove Gates or Doors (or joinery grade products) : approx 6-8 weeks*

Field/Farm Gates: approx 11-12 weeks* 

All Hardwood Gates & Doors: approx 8 weeks*


Prices: 5 Bar Field Gates  are set at a delivery charge of £45 + v.a.t. (on top of the current £24.99 website price) for sizes over 2.1m and greater.  Collection is obviously available.

* These are guide times only, and does not fulfil any agreement between us, the majority of orders are delivered earlier than the above guide times but please appreciate our timber products are handmade & cannot be rushed, so on some cases, orders maybe a few more days than guided delivery times - if not longer at busy periods.  These lead times are from cleared payment of order, so if paying by cheque then this will delay the process until payment is cleared and settled.

1. What is All-Gates delivery policy?

For products that are in stock i.e. timber products, it is usual to deliver your order within the times set above from the time you have placed your order (this can change from time to time depending on the very busy periods but we will inform you). Our cut off time 12.00 noon, so any orders made after this time will be treated as the following working day. Weekends and Bank holidays are not counted as working days. For products not in stock, you may be given an earliest delivery date. Please note this date is an estimate and due to the manufacturing process we cannot guarantee this date.
2. When can I expect my order?
If your products are in stock, your order will normally be despatched within 2-3 working days. At least 24 hours before a delivery is made, we will contact you via your preferred method and confirm when the delivery is taking place (we do sometimes use a courier service so delays can happen from time to time but we do have ability to track it this end. For products not in stock, you may be given an earliest delivery date. Please note this date is an estimate and due to the manufacturing process we cannot guarantee this date.  We cannot gaurantee delivery times due to the nature of the work being a made to measure service,  but we will do our best to keep you "the purchaser" in the know.  We will contact you once the item is ready for delivery so you are aware.  
3. How much does delivery cost?
Delivery for standard sized gates is £24.99 excluding vat. (+ £45 for Field gates over 2.1m wide), unless otherwise agreed, big orders will incur a further charge especially if a 2-man delivery service is required.  If too big for the couriers to handle through their system, we have our own transport to cater for this and only really book in when grouped orders on route are catered for.  Scotland, Ireland, Isle Of Man, Isle Of Wight address's all incur an additional charge to cover postage costs (please contact us for quote on this).  Posts are also priced dependant upon weight and are generally collection only, unless we are personally delivering ourselves.  Ironmongry delivery costs are set at a minimum charge of £9.99 + v.a.t (unless purchased with a gate(s) or garage barn doors, (to get this price, it's best to email the order to us rather than use website as the standard charge is currently set at £24.99 + v.a.t. and currently cannot be changed at this present time).  Other parts of Europe (across waters) will incur additional costs for overseas carriage - please email to arrange a quote.
4. What if I'm out when you deliver my products?
We need a signature from you at the point of delivery and therefore we cannot leave goods unattended in your garage or garden (unless you strictly state otherwise).  If you know you will be out or unavailable, please let us know so we can arrange an alternative delivery date, otherwise please make sure there is someone you can trust to sign for the delivery.  The couriers will attempt the delivery of up to 3 times leaving a delivery card for you to contact them.  If for any reason what so ever there are no persons present at the delivery after 3 attempts, an additional charge of £24.99 plus vat will have to be paid until the goods are released from the nearest delivery depot.  On some occasions neighbouring property holders may be able to sign upon your consent or we can instruct the courier to 'leave safe' which will be under your descretion.  It is usual for the delivery to sometimes ask for help to unload larger and heavier items, so please do expect this or arrange someone who is capable of heavy lifting.  
5. Do you deliver to Ireland or Isle of Man?
Unfortunately we currently do not deliver to Ireland at this moment in time.  However, we can now accept orders to be delivered to Isle of Man.
6. Do you deliver to the Channel Islands?
There is a delivery company we recommend named Ship2Me based in Southampton Docks who specialise in delivering across the border at the best competitive rates for the residents on the Island.  We can deliver to this courier company, and you can pay the small extra charge directly to them at to get your goods delivered across the border and to your front door safely.  Once you receive your tracking number, please let us know when ordering so we can stamp the delivery sheet for their attention.  The tracking number is usually starting with SMC followed by your unique reference number.
7. Do you deliver to Eastern Europe?
We can have our products delivered to Eastern Europe but prices may vary due to shipping costs.  Please advise us and we will be happy to give you a quote.  We will not load onto any third party couriers organised by any customers as this has been alerted as a possible fraud trick in the past.  No items will be released until full payment has be established as fully cleared.
8. Can the delivery company confirm a time they will be delivering?
Either us or the delivery company will call you at least 24 hours before delivery to let you know the date of delivery (as we use a third party we can never guarantee dates and times unless we are personally delivering ourselves and we will make every effort to deliver at stated time - trafffic depending?),  Again as mentioned above, a signature is required (unless you state otherwise under your own descretion) - If we are delivering ourselves it not always we ask for a signature as we know personally the goods have arrived safely.  Unfortunately we cannot guarantee what time in the day it will be unless you are local of course where we will be delivering ourselves.  The couriers do run from 7am to 9pm in most cases.   If a 2-man delivery is being used, due to the sheer size of the product or weight, this usually takes a little longer than normal and the couriers will call you directly to book in a certain day you can both agree on - delays do arise on 2-man deliveries so please bare this in mind as its totally out of our control so please be patient.  
9. Will I be charged for any returns?
There is a charge for returning items, we sometimes can offer this for free providing its within our interest, but if it is specially made to measure there is usually the charge of 30% of the original purchase. If the product is faulty, or not correct to what you have ordered, we will collect from you without any charge.  Although we do our best to package items accurately, the packaging is not waterproof so its recommended to either (if untreated), put them into storage of have waterproof sheets ready for you to cover them up (especially rainy days).  Light drizzle rain will be fine, just not completly drenched or submerged under water.
10. How is the delivery charge calculated?
All orders for standard sizes gates have a flat rate of £24.99 excluding vat for delivery..  All customers are more than welcome to collect their items from us if this is easier for you and will help speed up the completion process as we will not need to place in packaging department ready for despatch.  Sometimes our carriage costs can vary widely on some items due to either weight, shape, volume or destination of the product.  If there is anything that is to be affected by these, we will contact you as soon as we can. If you live in the Channel Islands (Jersey etc), then you will have to pay the extra charge directly to for transporting across the border and safely to you door. 
11. Can I Track My Order?
Yes certainley, once you have had the call from us or if you are awaiting delivery, once the items are despatched, a tracking number can be provided or give us a call and we can check the tracking pretty much straight away for you - 01795 842183.  We cannot give guaranteed times for deliveries as a third party courier is being used (unless it is our own transport being used for your order).
