Simple but rigidly structured, the Hampton gate has its own characteristic charm and is suited to use either as an entrance gate or field gate.
The construction incorporates the standard design features, planed components throughout and with stop chamfers.
Supplied in treated green Tanalith 'e' softwood or untreated Iroko hardwood.
The Hampton gates are framed, ledged and braced, also 'stainless steel' bolted for extra strength.
The hanging stile is wider than the catch stile with the top rail tapering to reduce weight on the gate.
These are supplied in a Scandinavian softwood as standard, but we can also offer a hardwood (Iroko) finish for these gates. Iroko is a top quality hardwood, yellowish / brown in colour and similar to teak in its texture and properties. This wood makes a superb entrance gate.
While very durable, we recommend you use Sikkens or Sadolin to preserve the timber.
Please note: All our height sizes are to the highest point on the gate (including any horns).
