All Tongue & Groove (TGV) gates are supplied untreated, allowing you to stain them to your desired colour. We recommend applying a high-quality spirit stain, with up to three coats for the best initial protection. While many spirit stain brands are available, we suggest using Sikkens HLS for the base coat, followed by Sikkens Filter 7 for the top coats. This combination offers enhanced protection against UV rays, rain, and fungal growth. For best results, apply with a brush—spraying is not recommended.
